From Voice of the Martyrs:
Persecution in Chiapas comes from traditionalist Catholics who resent any threat to their control in the state. Christians face harrassment from town leaders and neighbors. They are often forcibly relocated out of traditionalist communities. In 2009, six Christian radio stations were dismantles in four Chiapan cities, and Christians fear that more may be closed down....
May God give those who are persecuted for His sake an extra measure of His Holy Spirit today so that they may endure and persevere. Amen
